Ramba Nucleos is designed for making lead cores used in full metal jacket or plated bullet production.

Like its Mini version, it is also fed by lead wire, the difference being that it is equipped with an innovative forming system, consisting of a triple rotary die that can guarantee almost twice the production rate compared to the Mini.

Ramba Nucleos in fact has a capacity of 400 pieces per minute. As well, the molds are easily changed according to customer requirements, and the lubrication system is centralized.

MOD. MINI NUCLEOS

Ramba Mini Nucleos is designed for the manufacture of lead cores used in full metal jacket or plated bullet production. It is fed by lead wire, which is cut and successively introduced into a mold. Here it is pressed and successively ejected. The dies are easily changed according to customer requirements.

Mini nucleos is equipped with an automatic lubrication unit. The motion is given by brushless motors, which guarantee high permormance and excellent accuracy. It has a capacity from 0 to 240 pieces per minute.

The small-shot pressing machine RAMBA 115/380 has been designed to press small-shot from the lead wire that may be obtained by the RAMBA 114 extruding press or by any other suitable press or model.

RAMBA 115/380 is preferably coupled with a RAMBA 118 machine.

For each pellet diameter, a specific pressing unit is needed.

MOD. 118 MAIN FEATURES

RAMBA 118 è is designed to finish small shot produced by RAMBA 115/380 by removing eventual imperfections and smoothing its surface. Both the entrance and the delivery of the small shots are continuous.

A sleeve connects an exhauster for the disposal of lapping wastes.

POLISHING AND SELECTING AREA

Shots are carried directly from the lapping machine RAMBA 118 to the polishing device by means of an elevator and a rotary cylinder, continuously fed, provides for polishing. At the exit, they are delivered on specific glasses to be selected.

The automatic wire-winding device RAMBA A1T usually works connected to our extruder RAMBA 114 or to other similar equipment.

Winding speed is automatically controlled by the extruder according to its output. To avoid breaking and stretching of wire the device is equipped with a sensor to check the wire loop.

A smaller model for 100 Kg coil is available too.

RAMBA 114 has been designed for cold and continuos extrusion of lead wire. Resistors heat the container to facilitate extrusion when starting the machine.

Cylindrical ingots, produced by the casting machine RAMBA 122/01, feed the RAMBA 114; ingots usually have a dia. of 78 mm and are 185 to 200 mm long.

As the extrusion process is continuous, the wire produced by the machine is without interruptions. For each wire diameter, a specific die is necessary.

RAMBA 128 is generally operated with a RAMBA 122/01 ingot casting machine and is designed to square lead ingots and eliminate eventual depressions caused by cooling shrinking in order to obtain a constant length.

 

Ingots are fed into the RAMBA 128 by means of a chute and their ends are planed by two blades.
