Lotto Uno Division 04 · CNC machining

One-off parts, prototypes and small batches. The machining jobs that find no room elsewhere.

Lotto Uno is RAMBA’s subcontract machining division: five CNC machines, a minimum batch of one part and a quote within 24 hours. We have been designing and building machinery for sixty years, and we know the value of a part delivered on time.

01Who we serve

Three situations where a single part is a problem. For us it is everyday work.

Machine shops and toolmakers

The part that interrupts the batch

A one-off or an urgent job that arrives while your machines are committed to production. Entrust it to us: we make it to your drawing and confirm feasibility right away. The relationship with your customer remains yours.

Work exchange is welcome: grinding, EDM and parts beyond our travels are jobs we also entrust to outside partners.

Plant maintenance

The spare part that can no longer be found

A broken component, a supplier that no longer exists, a drawing that never existed. Bring us the sample: we measure it, redraw it and make it again, reinforcing it where it failed if necessary.

We build machinery: we know what a stopped line means.

Engineering departments and machine builders

The prototype with a deadline

From one to five parts per machine, evolving drawings, last-minute changes. We work directly from the STEP file and, before starting, we point out anything that cannot be made or would involve unnecessary costs.

05How it works

From drawing to finished part in four steps

Send us the drawing

STEP or DXF file with a dimensioned PDF, or the physical sample. Specify material, quantity and the required delivery date.

Quote within 24 hours

Setup and programming at a fixed price, machining charged by time. Any critical points on the drawing are flagged before work starts, not after.

Machining

Commonly used alloys kept in stock. Milling and turning in-house, treatments managed by us.

Inspection and delivery

Verification of critical dimensions, with report on request. Collection at our premises in Flero or shipping by courier.

Why one-off parts are sustainable for us

For a workshop organised around batch production, a single part is uneconomical: setup and programming weigh more than the machining itself. Our workshop is organised the opposite way: standard fixtures, material already in stock, programming at the machine. The fixed cost remains contained and is stated transparently in the quote, not hidden in a price per part.

When our schedule is full we tell you immediately, the same day: no delays discovered at delivery time.

06The workshop

We did not start out as subcontractors. We build machinery, and the workshop was created to serve it.

The machine shop produces the parts for RAMBA’s lead, air gun pellet and cartridge loading machinery, and today it places the same capacity at the disposal of anyone who needs one-off parts and small batches. Our staff are used to working on ever-different parts, because every machine we build is different from the last.

Since 2020 RAMBA has been investing in CNC machines and in the digitalisation of its processes: the subcontract machining division grew out of this machine park, built up to produce our own machinery.
